Wooden Suspension Bridge

At the moment I working on a Wooden Suspension Bridge for our 1930´s Very Moderate Swedish Conflict Club Project.

The inspiration I got when visiting my grand parents home villade Floda in Dalarna this summer. The Wooden Suspension Bridge in Floda was built in 1922.

My bridge project starten when my friend Oskar donated some parts of a 1/72 Airfix Pontoon Bridge to our project.

I thought the railings resembled the Floda bridge so I just had to build me some Bridge towers and then will have me a small Wooden Suspension Bridge :)

  3. What an excellent looking bridge, it reminds me of old Roman bridges, with the cross strut handrails.

Let me know if you ever plan a trip to Dalarna in Sweden and i'll try to take some time of and show you the other special bridges in the area, in Floda they actually have two suspension bridges, one for card( the one in My foto and a smaller one for walking, in the neibouring village they have a very nice wooden pontoon bridge.

      Best regards Michael
